Terms
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This page has three parts: our Membership Terms, our Community Guidelines, and the terms for using this website. Like Hearted Leaders (LHL) is run by Active Imagination Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company 8779920), 7 Bell Yard, London WC2A 2JR. Contact: claire@likeheartedleaders.com.
Membership Terms
These terms are between you and Active Imagination Ltd. By joining, you agree to them and to our Community Guidelines below.
1. What you get
- LHL Membership, £50 a month or £450 a year: Friday sessions, Creative Breakfast, community area, masterclasses, WhatsApp, and in-person events at member rates.
- Friend of LHL, £15 a month or £150 a year: WhatsApp and Open Friday only.
If you joined at an earlier price, you pay that price until we give you notice of a change under clause 4.
We may change the format, day, time or tools we use, as long as the heart of the membership stays the same. If a change is significant, we'll tell you first and you can leave.
2. Free trial
The 7-day free trial starts when you sign up. Unless you cancel before it ends, your first payment is taken on day 8. We'll email you before the trial ends.
3. Payment
You pay in advance each month (or year), by card through Stripe,Paypal or Kajabi payments on the date you joined. If a payment fails, we'll let you know. Access may pause until it's sorted.
4. Price changes
We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change. If you don't want to continue at the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.
5. Your right to cancel in the first 14 days
You have 14 days from joining to cancel for any reason. By starting your trial you ask us to give you access straight away. If you cancel after paying but within the 14 days, we'll refund you, minus a fair amount for the time you had access.
6. Cancelling any time after that
Cancel anytime from your account (Settings → Billing) or by emailing claire@likeheartedleaders.com. Cancellation stops the next payment. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund part-months, except under clause 5. Annual plans can be cancelled in the same way; your access runs to the end of the year you've paid for.
7. Ending a membership
We can end a membership if someone seriously or repeatedly breaks the Community Guidelines. We'll talk to you first unless the situation means we can't. If we end it, we'll refund any unused part of the period you've paid for.
8. What LHL is and isn't
LHL is a peer community. Nothing said in sessions, posts or masterclasses is professional, legal, financial or medical advice. What you do with it is your call.
9. Content
Masterclasses and materials are ours. They're for your own use while you're a member; please don't share or resell them. What you post stays yours. You give us permission to show it within the community.
10. Our responsibility to you
We'll provide the membership with reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, or for problems caused by third-party platforms such as Zoom or WhatsApp. If you join for business purposes, we're not liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Your data and photos
Our Privacy Notice explains how we use your data, including group photos and how to opt out.
12. Changes to these terms
We'll email you about significant changes at least 30 days before they apply.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
Community Guidelines
LHL works because people can show up as more than their job title. These few things keep it that way.
- What's said on Friday stays on Friday. Share what you learned, never who said it or what they told us.
- No screenshots or recordings by members. Claire takes the group shots, with a warning first, so everyone can choose.
- Generous, not salesy. Talk about your work when it helps; no pitching, cold DMs or adding members to mailing lists.
- WhatsApp is for connection. Keep it kind, keep it relevant, and mute freely. No one's expected to reply to everything.
- Disagree well. Challenge ideas, never people.
- Look after each other. If something feels off, tell Claire at claire@likeheartedleaders.com. We'll deal with it quietly.
If someone ignores these, Claire will have a word first. If it keeps happening, or it's serious, we may remove them from LHL (see clause 7 above).
